Tax return and taxes for 2026
The entry into force of the administered regime is scheduled for 1 January 2027. Consequently, anyone who joins or registers on Young Platform during 2026 will remain subject to the declarative tax regime for the entire year, independently managing all tax compliance requirements.
This means that all crypto-assets held and transactions carried out in 2026 must be independently entered into the tax return to be submitted in 2027 (by filling in the RT and RW sections) and that you will have to personally calculate and pay the taxes due via the F24 form.
What you must declare for 2026
- The capital gains and capital losses realised in 2026, in the RT section.
- The crypto-assets held in 2026, for monitoring purposes, in the RW section. This also includes those you have deposited on Young Platform from other wallets.
- Crypto-assets on other platforms and in your personal wallets, just like in any year under the declarative regime.
The tax report
To prepare your tax return, you can purchase a tax report from the Taxes & Reports section:
- the Young Report covers transactions on Young Platform;
- the Okipo Report is best suited if you also have other exchanges or personal wallets.
There is no obligation to purchase a report: you can consult a professional or use another service. Differences, prices and how to activate the reports are explained in Differences between the Young Platform tax report and the Okipo report.
From 2027 onwards
From 1 January 2027, the calculation and payment of taxes on crypto-assets in the Young Wallet will be handled by Young Platform, and you will no longer need to fill in the RT and RW sections for these. How the transition works is explained in How to join the administered regime.
