Topping up your Crypto account means adding funds to use for buying cryptocurrencies. You can do this in two ways:
- depositing Euros, which you then find in your Euro Crypto Wallet;
- converting cryptocurrencies that you already have.
Below you can find all the methods, with fees and credit times, and the link to the detailed guide for each one.
Before you start
- Bank accounts, cards and wallets you use must be in your name or joint name. Deposits by third parties are not allowed.
- Young Platform only supports Euros: if you deposit from an account in another currency, the conversion to Euros is done by your bank.
- Annual deposit limits depend on your account level. If you need higher amounts, read how to increase your account level.
To deposit Euros, from the app tap Top up on the homepage; from the web platform go to Wallet > Deposit > Euro. Then choose the method.

Bank transfer
The bank transfer has no fees. Select the type of account you are sending from (Italian account, Intesa San Paolo account or foreign account), save the details shown to you and send the transfer from your bank.
- For Italian accounts you are assigned an IBAN dedicated to your account: the reference note is not needed.
- For Intesa San Paolo and foreign accounts you must enter the amount first, and the reference note is compulsory.
- The instant bank transfer is credited in a few minutes only if it starts from an Italian account; from a foreign account it is treated as an ordinary bank transfer.
- You can have only one deposit request in progress at a time.

Payment card
You can use credit, debit and prepaid cards of the Visa and Mastercard networks. Crediting is immediate.
- The first time you add a card, a few cents are charged to verify it, then automatically refunded.
- You can add a maximum of 5 cards per month and 40 in total.
- Your bank might ask you to authorise the payment from its app or via SMS.

Google Pay or Apple Pay
If you have linked a card to Google Pay or Apple Pay on your device, you can use it to deposit Euros with immediate crediting. Fees are the same as for the card.

BANCOMAT Pay
Deposit directly from your current account using the mobile number associated with BANCOMAT Pay, without entering an IBAN or card details. You authorise the transaction from the BANCOMAT app or your bank app, and crediting is immediate.

From Conto Young (Cash)
Pertaining to Conto Young, you can move Euros from your balance to the Euro Wallet of your Crypto account. The transfer is free and immediate.

Gift Card
Gift Cards are Euro vouchers from 20€ to 250€: you can receive them from other Young Platform users or via welfare programmes. To redeem one go to Profile > Gift Card > Redeem and enter the code: the amount arrives immediately in the Euro Wallet.
The Gift Card is also the only way to send Euros to another Young Platform crypto account: crypto account bank transfers are not allowed.

Young Cash voucher or store-bought Gift Card
From 8 October 2026 it is no longer possible to purchase Young Cash vouchers or Gift Cards in shops. If you have one purchased before, you can still redeem it: open a ticket to Support with the code and a clearly legible photo of the voucher, wait for validation and then select Deposit > Euro > Young Cash Deposit > Voucher.

Cryptocurrencies from external wallets or other platforms
If you already have cryptocurrencies on another platform or in a personal wallet, you can transfer them to your account. Select Deposit > Cryptocurrency, choose the cryptocurrency and copy the address, network and, if requested, the Memo/Tag. Then start the withdrawal from the origin platform or wallet.
- The network must be the same on both sides. A deposit on the wrong network or without a Memo/Tag can be permanently lost.
- Copy and paste the address, do not type it manually, and check that it matches the one shown on Young Platform.
- For the Travel Rule every cryptocurrency deposit requires additional information. If you send from another platform, select Young Platform as the destination.
- You can only receive from personal wallets in your name: below 1,000€ a self-certification is enough, from 1,000€ upwards you must verify the wallet with a cryptographic signature.
- The deposit is credited after a minimum number of confirmations on the blockchain, which varies depending on the network.
- USDC cannot be received from external wallets or platforms: you can only get it by buying it on Young Platform.

After topping up: buy cryptocurrencies
With the available balance, select the cryptocurrency, tap Buy and choose how to pay:
- with the Euro Wallet;
- directly with card, Google Pay or Apple Pay, without topping up first: in this case you have 30 seconds to complete the payment, then a new quote is needed.
Before confirming you see the order summary with the price, fees and total. In purchases your counterparty is Young Platform S.p.A.
