A guide to the fields you see when trading on Young Platform Pro
When you open the Market section of Young Platform Pro, you'll find several panels with useful information to help you decide how and at what price to trade. This guide explains what each element means.
The Order panel
This is the panel on the right of the screen, where you set and submit your orders.
- Available: the balance you have available for the operation (EUR if you're buying, crypto if you're selling).
- Buy / Sell: the two tabs to choose the direction of the operation.
- Order type (drop-down menu, shows "Limit"): currently the only type available on Pro.
- Price: the limit price at which you want to buy or sell, in EUR.
- Quantity: the amount of crypto you want to exchange. You can type it, tap Max to use your entire available balance, or use the percentage bar (0%–100%).
- ≈ Total: the estimated EUR equivalent value of the operation, automatically calculated from price and quantity.
- Validity: how the order behaves if it doesn't immediately find a counterparty. It shows "Fill or Kill" (FOK), the only option currently available.
- Amount / Quantity / Fees: the final summary before confirming, with the brokerage fee already included in the calculation.
- Buy / Sell button (green): submits the order.
The Liquidity View
This is the panel that shows, in real-time, the prices and quantities available on the market for the selected pair.
- Price (EUR): the price levels at which liquidity is available. Red rows indicate sell prices (above the current price), green rows indicate buy prices (below the current price).
- Quantity (Crypto): how much crypto is available at that price level.
- Value (EUR): the EUR equivalent value of that quantity, at that price.
- Current price and Spread: in the centre of the view, you'll find the current reference price and the spread (the difference between the best available buy and sell prices).
Checking the Liquidity View before setting your Limit order price helps you understand if, at that price, you're likely to find enough counterparty to execute the entire order — reducing the risk of it being cancelled.
The chart
Shows the historical price trend on the external markets to which Young Platform Pro is connected. It's for purely informational purposes: it helps you get an idea of the market price before setting your order.
Open orders / Closed orders / Order history
- Open orders: the orders you've submitted that are still being executed.
- Closed orders: orders already executed or cancelled.
- Order history: the record of trades that have already taken place, with price, quantity and time.
