The Profits and Losses section within Analytics allows you to monitor the performance of your portfolio on the Young Platform in detail. Thanks to updated charts, aggregated data, and dynamic filters, you get a complete overview of your crypto assets — both in terms of current value and historical performance.
Data display
You can view:
- The total balance: the sum of all crypto wallets, expressed in euros
- Detailed breakdown by wallet: Main, Vault, Staking, Smart Trade
- Performance in absolute value (EUR) or percentage (%)
Statistics and data updates
Profits and losses are updated every hour. The time of the last update is shown under "Profit & Loss – last 24h".
The main chart shows the daily trend of profits and losses, calculated as the total return of your investment portfolio, both in percentage and euro terms. This value reflects the overall performance of the portfolio, taking into account:
- Changes in asset values
- Realised profits
- Potential profits
Potential profit
This is the estimated increase or decrease in value of the cryptocurrencies you hold, calculated as the difference between the average purchase (or deposit) price and the current price.
It's an unrealised value: it shows how much you could gain or lose if you sold at that moment.
Conversions between cryptocurrencies do not result in realised profit — unless the destination crypto is a fiat-pegged stablecoin (e.g. USDC). In that case, the system treats the operation as a sale, and the gain or loss becomes realised.
Realised profit
This represents the gain obtained when a cryptocurrency is sold or withdrawn, compared to its average purchase price.
It’s calculated based on the difference between the sale/withdrawal price and the average purchase price, and includes any fees (accounted as losses).
Crypto-to-crypto conversions are not considered sales and do not generate realised profit — except when converting into a stablecoin.
How the average price works
The average price is calculated using a weighted average: each time you purchase a cryptocurrency, the system updates the value based on the total amount spent and the quantity held.
When you sell or withdraw, the average price does not change — it's used to calculate the realised profit/loss.
If you move crypto from one wallet to another (e.g. from Vault to Staking), the average price is transferred along with the crypto. This ensures calculations remain accurate after the transfer.
Breakdown by feature
At the bottom of the Analytics section, you can view the split of profits and losses by product feature:
- Main Wallet
- Vault (including recurring purchases)
- Smart Trade (automated bots)
- Staking
You can also change the analysis period using filters: last week, month, year, or from the beginning of your activity on Young Platform.
"Volumes" section
This section shows the total activity for the selected period, including:
- Deposits
- Withdrawals
- Buy, sell, or crypto-to-crypto conversion orders
You can select the month to analyse and filter data by transaction category, which will be displayed in the corresponding chart.
Cryptocurrency allocation
The pie chart shows the percentage distribution of your portfolio among the different cryptocurrencies you hold.
Each segment represents one crypto and its weight in your total holdings. This helps you:
- Identify which cryptos have a significant share in your portfolio
- Analyse which ones generated the biggest gains or losses
You can also use Top Profit and Top Loss tags to highlight the best- and worst-performing cryptos.
"Transactions" section
This section gives you a detailed overview of all portfolio activities, broken down by type and volume:
- Number of executed orders (buy, sell, swap)
- Total volume of transactions
This data helps you track your portfolio activity precisely during the selected period.
Balance distribution
This chart shows how your capital is allocated across different strategies on Young Platform. Each segment represents a product (e.g. Vault, Staking, Smart Trade) and its weight on the total balance.
It’s a useful tool to:
- Analyse your portfolio structure
- Manage risk diversification
- Evaluate the returns of each strategy
Asset type allocation
Scrolling down, you’ll find a chart displaying your balance by asset type:
- Euros (fiat currency)
- Cryptocurrencies
- Stablecoins
Stablecoins are pegged to the value of fiat currencies (usually euro or dollar) and designed to maintain price stability. They’re shown separately in the chart, since their behaviour and purpose differ from other cryptocurrencies.
This section helps you assess the balance between volatile and stable assets in your portfolio.
